This tool works well. Its heavy and i am glad i did not get the battery one. Cord is cool.
If you have a Dremel, you MUST check and replace the motor brushes or else you can end up totally burning out your motor quite suddenly after years of service. (Guess how I know this).
Good product, just make sure you get the required quick change adapter to use this product.
Although the Amazon page says that this is for ALL 22 inch Performax sanders, it is not.It is for the ShopPro 25, 22-44 Pro and Pro Max sanders.If you have the popular 22-44 Plus, this will not fit and you will end up returning it as I did.Search Amazon for the 98-2202 Infeed/Outfeed Tables, that is the one you want for the 22-44 Plus series of sanders.
I have used SAIT Abrasives for years in my shop and found out I can get these on line at Amazon!! This is a great product and I can order and get free freight when I buy more than $25 and I do not pay sales tax. This is a great deal.
I was not sure if I could get belts for my sander with this dimension any more.The belts are inexpensive and work great.They were at my house a few days after I ordered them.
Most people will use their Dremel to cut out wood. This is Dremel's basic blade to do that. It is designed to only cut wood and if you hit metal it is history. Luckily, it is relatively inexpensive compared to other brand blades so you won't cry too much. I cut about 10 feet of exterior 3/4 play with it and it was fine nearly all the way to the end when it hit a screw. No blade of any sort really stands up to a hardened screw and 3/4 exterior ply with all of its blade-dulling glues is a tough test. So, not a bad blade. If it had not hit the screw, it would still be good. It felt sharp all the way.It is an obvious choice for a Dremel, but I believe it can fit some other brands and would be a good choice for them as well.
I had high expectations of these sanding belts but I'll never know. The company sent the wrong items ordered. I ordered the standard 6" belts that are offered on the same page as the belt holding device. They sent me 8" belts which are useless with the holding device because they are too big to fit the pen-like holder. For 4 bucks it's not worth the hassle of returning them. I just won't give them any more of my business. I recommend you don't either.
These bands delaminated under light use on a Mastercarver Pro rotary shaft machine. I returned them and bought another set in hopes that I might get better adhesion of the diamond. This is a 3M problem that should be solved by using a better, more heat resistant glue
Good thing there are ten of these. The first one I used separated at the seam in the first few seconds of use. The second one did finish that job, but since I haven't tried the other eight, I do not know if more, most or all of the rest are any good.
when I first bought my fein kit it came with what I now know as a standard e cut blade. when I reordered I got the super e cut blade(sounds like by name it would be better(?). I have not been as pleased with the amount of cuts. I finally realized the standard has the better teeth. Be careful when you order. there are evidently three names: standard, super cut and precison.
These are the best sanding discs I've found. They are thicker, heavier duty and seem to hold up better than any other disc I've used. I bought several boxes and couldn't beleive the $2 per box price. Wish I'd bought more!
They said that the items are from 3M, may be they manufactured the product, what i can say is that i received only 9 rolls per package it is labled Foredom.If these items are from Foredom it is clear that they were shipped with 3 bands per grit 60, 80,120, 220 grit making a total of 12 but the bag arrived with 9. i don't know how to name this, but in other places this is wrong advertisement; and they are setting up wrong expectations on you.
The Performax Open Stand came well packaged and in good condition.It went together easily in 1/2 hour with minimal fuss.I also bought the locking casters to go with it and I'm glad that I did.The machine if fully mobile now and locks down tight when I want it to.
Exactly what I was looking for. Product is excellent and I would buy again from this seller. The belts work great on my slac - a - belt grinder.I use it for everything.
I did not buy this item, but I can tell you that the picture that accompanies these sanding belts and their specs are two different things.The picture seems to be something about 3 inches wide and about 20 inches around.The spec says 2 inches wide and 48 inches around.Not even close!Caveat emptor, the picture is probably wrong!
What can one say about sanding sleeves?Jet sleeves are made to fit their oscillating sanders.They work very well, and Amazon has the best price I could find.

If you want to take a lot of wood off your project, this is the stuff.Load up both drums of a dual drum sander with this and you can take it down quick.It doesnt last as long as the purple stuff, but that only come in 50 grit, so...
I had my doubts about purchasing a disposable paper dust bag. The cost seemed a little prohibitive, over 2 dollars a bag.However now that I've used the same bag after having emptied it three times, I'm sold.It fits in the little cradle/basket like a custom fitted glove. A few years ago I purchased the canvas bag, after a short time it started coming apart.So far disposable is the way to go.
I received my product in a timley matter and they are what I expected. No problems.
This pad is threaded to fit the 7336SP electric sander-polisher too, and I didn't even need to change the original counterweight. I just substituted a thick steel fender washer for the lightweight plastic spacer washer supplied with this pad, bringing the pad assembly to near the ideal weight to balance the factory counterweight.

I'm awaiting a response from the company, but this may be the last time I bother buying a Dremel brand accessory. Totally unacceptable.
The ATD 6" Medium Duty Wheel seems to be of good quality and value. I considered buying a Heavy Duty Wheel but will opt for a knotted wheel to use for the rough jobs. Plus the Medium wheel can be used for lighter duties by using less pressure. It will be a test of time to see how long it will hold up. For the money I would probably buy another one anyway.
I was immediately intrigued when this belt sander came on the market - I always felt there needed to be a more diminutive belt sander for certain operations, things that a quarter-sheet palm sander or a oscilating disk sander just are not right for (for one example, our companyoften has to taper the end of a baluster - this is the tool for the job). Also keep in mind that many people find a larger belt sander hard to control without gouging the workpiece. So I ordered one. As soon as it arrived, it had celebrity status - there are one-hand and detail operations that the other four trim capenters I work with immediately took to this tool to perform, and I am adding a second one to our inventory soon.
This Product is one of few, that really do work. I have many sanding belts and disks (even dremel sanding barrels) that I was able to restore with this stick. I sand wood, plastics, and metal. You can imagine how dirty my belts get. Just touch the disk to the belt and sand, like you would a piece of wood. The particles in the clogged belt come right out with little mess, and the belt cuts like new. You will be suprised with it's performance.
The belts are as adertised and do the job for which I bought them--sanding ship model parts.
I couldn't believe that there were still no reviews on this item, which I have been using in my one-man shop for several years now on a Performax 16-32.Overall, it's a great option.Cutting is straightforward, using the color-coded lines for your particular drum, though I think there is a dark green line that can be easy to mistake for the black one, which is "my" line.The main problem I have with this is its tendency to develop "hot spots" -- especially on woods such as cherry, with its pitch pockets -- and then proceed to leave a burn line the length of the board as the burn problem snowballs.Once the paper burns, that's it for that spot.You can scrape/chip the burned resin off the drum, but I still mark the spot in pencil on my sander so I don't send something across that spot again.Since I do a lot of rail/stile kind of widths, I can get away with that, but if you were going to use it for lots of wide panels, it could be a different problem entirely.The only remedy I have found, and it's not 100%, is to take *extremely* light passes at a fairly high feed rate.

Everything it should be. I use these with Bosch 1250DEVS sander to remove stock quickly from sawn oak and to sand bodywork on antique tractors. Very tough - 5 stars!
Like all Fein products this is a quality product. That said, it is none the less expensive (like all Fein products). It does a great job while it lasts but for what it costs it should last longer.
I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT TWICE AND EVERY TIME I HOOKED IT UP AND USED IT FOR ABOUT TWO MINUTES, IT LEAKED AIR THRU THE BOTTON AND STOPPED WORKING. IT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD MACHINE BUT IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME.
It was not the longest lasting sanding belt, but durable.I did not have any problems with snagging edges.I would rate it higher but the belt simply wore out a little too quick but for the price it is great.
I have lots of gloves. Generally I prefer inexpensive thin leather gloves that still give dexterity and coolness. They might wear out faster, but you almost feel barehanded. These decade gloves are a bit different.
I replaced the standard "V" belts on my Powermatic model 66 (3HP) table saw with the Fenner link belts. The saw uses a pair of belts 3/8" wide by about 20" in length. [The belts run side by side, on double groove pulleys.] Fitting the belts was very easy. First by making the 2 belts from the 5' length, then installing them on the saw. I was pleasantly suprised to see how 'equal' in length both belts ended up, as both had near equal tension after adjusting. Better than the previous "V" belts, which one was tight and the other one loose. [Typical]
This 4 pack in PRECUT sandpaper is a great boon to the Performax 16-32 drum sander.The sandpaper easily locks in place at the right angle and perfectly rolls up on the drum sander to create the perfect sanding operation.Changing sandpaper grades is quick and simple with the precut sheets.The 100 grit is perfect for a medium finish with about a 1/64" stock removal per pass.
I use this sand paper on a 22-44 performax drum sander.It works great and is much cheaper than already cut paper.
The Abranet disk worked way beyond my expatations.When going through the progression, my workpiece was extremely smooth (red oak and some dense wavvy & interlocked grain tropical hardwood).It took only a very small amount of time and effort with a refurbished random orbital sander (faster than traditional disks), and the dust control was complete (I used the retrofit platten and a small cheap-o vaccume).I don't plan on using any other abrasive for my random orbital sanding work.
I am using a dremmel with these sanders on my dog's nails as we had to sedate him in order to cut them.He didn't like it at first but now has no real problem with the sound.Just be careful on how long you sand each nail as it doesn't take much to start burning the dog.Better to go over each foot twice then be on each nail too long
Such a simple innovation, but well worth it.I haven't used it yet for routing edges, but I did work it to stabilize wood pieces for sanding.It worked really well with no clamping required and gave me access to the entire piece.I WAS surprised though at the postage charge.I bought these as part of a bigger Amazon order.Nowhere in the transaction was there an indication of what the postage from Rockler would be.It ended up being $6.95 or roughly 60% of the total purchase.For that, I should have gone to the store rather than purchase online...
I bought this 1/2"4 foot long belt from another vendor.I was getting some very annoying vibrations on my Delta contractor's saw. After about 15 minutes of loose measuring and removing about 5 inches from the Power Link belt, and then installing it, my Delta has never run better or smoother.My other belt, which only had a few hours on it, is in the trash bin.
This machine is absolutely brilliant.I have used the older 7424 and I thought THAT was great.However, the new machine with its larger switch and more power make a great machine even better.
This is something that my husband wanted for Christmas - yes, a sanding disc! He has been pleased with it. I think he has used it to work on Pinewood Derby cars for Boy Scouts.

The grit assortment is the way to go. Refinished 6 small tables in a short amount of time. Started with 80 grit to remove previous stain and worked my way to 220 finish. The velcro stick works great. Have heard others complain about alignment, but I didn't have that problem. Just line up 2 of the holes on the sand dics with the holes on the sander and stick it on. Not difficult at all.
